Steamboat Springs, Colorado- beloved destination to many all over the world, cherished home to a lucky few. Locals around here are proud to call themselves such, yet, as in most idyllic mountain towns, much of Steamboat's community is comprised of individuals who originally hailed from somewhere else. Well, as I am typing this, it is the Summer Solstice… here in Steamboat we have woken up to snow- summer in the high country is delayed this year. Working in the Outdoor Industry there is a common saying,

“No such thing as bad weather, just poor gear choice.”

Big Agnes NEW Flex Pad Sleeve

Big Agnes is known for being the “Mother of Comfort”, that tag line  is derived from the Classic Sleep System. For those who aren’t familiar with the Sleep System, it refers to the pad sleeve that can be found in a multitude of our sleeping bags.Now we have an updated pad sleeve called the flex pad sleeve. This design took the original concept and revamped it.

Springalicious Trails

 Recent weather events have led to an abundance of muddy boots, bikes and paws- but hey, they call it mud-season for a reason, right?
  
If you are coming to visit, be sure to check the weather- we have been trending on the wetter side of things this spring, a rain jacket may be advised. Trail conditions the past few weeks have been slightly variable, and we do advocate that you tread lightly- try not to tear up the muddy trails!
